Following the recent Covid-19 developments, our company decided to go live on facebook by presenting ten episodes. On April 21st Paul Chicrcop decided to go live in a spontaneaous way. The first programme was presented by Paul Chircop and Antonella Abela Fava. All programmes were directed by Ryan Schembri, together with our helper Abigail Abela. From the second programme, Stiefnu took over and presented nine other episodes together with Paul.
In these programmes, presenters interviewed and discussed various topics related to Carnival and the impact of Covid-19. In the first few episodes, the company asked for some comments from their members including helpers and dancers. One of our favourite programme was on May 19th, where we interviewed Malta Carnival Director, Mr Jason Busuttil. On this Episode we’ve also launched our fresh new website, designed and developed by 12works.
From all the episodes, our 6th programme broke the record with more than 1.6k views where we featured the life of Charles Axisa. (An ex-participant who lost his life in a tragic accident) Charles was the man behind Malta’s King Carnival. Also, on this programme we interviewed Mr Clint Axisa, President of the Carnival Participants Group.
Overall, this was a new experience for us and we really enjoyed it. We had the chance to look at our traditional Carnival from a different angle with the aim of bonding all participants together. From the bottom of our heart we would like to thank all those who connected and followed us every week. It was a great pleasure interviewing almost every participant in these ten episodes.
We would like to thank our main sponsors 12works for all the graphic design input and the artistic direction.
